A Tint of Paranoia

If I believed in the energy of inanimate things and luck in general, I would think that “the universe” is out to get me. I guess in Christian terms it can only be described as the devil must want to beat me down somethin’ good because I’m not sure how I’m going to fix my current exhausted frustrated state. The process is already difficult without tools being stolen and now finding out that everything I needed to fill out paperwork to receive our last check on the big project was not taken care of (I was under the impression that Cesar recorded hours every week as did the guy taking care of our company…. As it turns out, nobody was recording anything and checks were being written including debts owed to people and money to be sent to us and mixed with various work sites– a royal mess).

Beyond that, Cesar’s family is self-destructing, arguments among everybody and they want to know why I just stick to my room and my work. Today was a larger blowout and I have a feeling we’re in for another when Cesar’s mom gets in. I’m just holding my breath until his sister (the love of my DeSousa family life) comes from Brasilia bearing her smile and irony.

Then, while Audrey and I were playing with her 4-month-old cousin, Audrey pulled down a hot iron on her leg. I had no idea it had been used, nor did I see her even near it because I was looking at her cousin, and it was a disaster. She cried until she slept and the mark is enormous. Audrey has also taken to biting when she’s excited (I have no idea why) and has bitten her beloved 6-month-old cousin twice. She is teething, so I suppose that could be part of it…. Ideas?

Anyway, it’s time for me to try to get a little bit of sleep. Keep us in your prayers and maybe even give us an intense session– we could use every ounce of spiritual strength.
