When she grows up

It's a cute concept, our children growing up. It's something we constantly take note of and yet, as a mom, I will admit I dread it. She is so ready (at 5 years old) and I'm not sure I'm ready for he to learn everything I'm teaching her! So it was a very joyful moment when she said..

Yup! She gets it! I read for a living, and she declared she wants to too. Will she? Maybe. She also aspires to be a doctor, a ninja, and just now when I asked her, she said, "Exercising and running, Zumba and stretching...." So... well, we have lots of time. In the meantime, we learn-- every day we learn. And I love it! I learn new things every day. We watch fairy tales and read stories and I feel like I'm back in her shoes and anything is possible. What are your dreams? What were your dreams when you were a child?
